HOLY PUMPKIN!

In honor of it being October, I have rounded up my favorite skincare products that contain pumpkin! Pumpkin does so many amazing things for your skin! It contains vitamins A, C, E, and antioxidants. Pumpkin acts as a great exfoliant to eliminate dead skin cells and contains zinc and potassium which helps combat redness. I love anything that contains pumpkin and didn’t realize how many pumpkin-based skincare products I owned until after deciding to write this post. From masks, scrubs, resurfacers, and pore detox treatments, I have all your pumpkin skincare covered!

Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask: This mask is amazing but I will warn you, it’s strong! If you have really sensitive skin, this mask may not be for you. Have you have ever had a chemical peel and they held a fan to your face to combat the burning sensation? That is how I would prepare yourself when using this mask, lol! I have semi-sensitive skin and was fine using this mask but I will say the first 2-3 minutes I was nervous with how warm and tingly my face felt. The box does warn you about a possible stinging sensation. Glycolic acid is so great for your skin! Not only is it great for breakouts, but it also helps with hyperpigmentation, dullness, and signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles. After using this mask, my skin is extremely smooth and my complexion is brightened! I have even used this mask as a spot treatment for those pesky breakouts! And a bonus, the smell is amazing!

Tula Pumpkin Exfoliating Sugar Scrub: I have wanted to try this product for so long! I’ve been using it for several weeks and I am obsessed with it! I would recommend this for someone that has sensitive skin and likes the smell of pumpkin pie, lol! This scrub is unlike any scrub I have ever used, the exfoliating sugar beads dissolve/melt into your skin as you massage the scrub on your skin. The fruit enzymes help dissolve dirt and unclog pores, goodbye mask acne! Like all of Tula’s products, this scrub contains probiotics that help balance and improve the smoothness of your skin. I use this 2-3x a week and my skin looks and feels great!

Urban Skin RX Pumpkin Pore Detox Mask/Scrub: This mask smells like maple pancakes, no lie! I love it when I come across multi-use products, like this one! This product can either be used as a mask or weekly exfoliant, or both! I have only used it as a mask because it’s SO good at cleaning out my pores and getting rid of congestion while smoothing and shrinking pores! My pores are my main concern, can you tell?! This mask is self-warming and tingles slightly during the first few minutes following the application. This mask is nowhere near the level of intensity of the Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask, so I would recommend it for someone that has sensitive skin. When used as a mask, this seriously cleans out pores and helps with their overall appearance!

Bliss Pumpkin Resurfacing/Exfoliating Enzyme Mask: This product is my new favorite! I would highly recommend this mask to someone with sensitive skin because it is SO gentle! I am not kidding when I say that my pores completely opened up after using this mask! I was shocked! My blackheads and clogged pores were just popping out and I was amazed! My pores are my worst enemy and at first, I didn’t think this mask was strong enough to take care of them but wow was I wrong! This mask loosened up my blackheads and clogged pores and made my skin SO clear! I guess I’m used to really intense products but just because your face doesn’t feel like you poured battery acid on it, doesn’t mean that the mask isn’t doing wonders! After leaving it on for about 15 minutes, I washed it off with warm water, and the exfoliating beads melted away into my skin. Highly recommend this product!

Too Cool For School Pumpkin 24k Gold Mask: I wanted to include a sheet mask in this post because some people prefer those over a mask in a container. Personally, I love using sheet masks when I travel because of how thin they are, hardly taking up any space (let’s be honest, I can use all the space possible), and once used, you just throw away! This mask is great for dry/dehydrated skin! When I am peeling (especially in the winter) I go for this mask and it leaves my skin so hydrated and glowing! I also appreciate the fact that this mask stays on my face, allowing me to move around, vs. some sheet masks where I have to lay completely flat during the duration of masking. I highly recommend this mask for all skin types and especially for those that suffer from dryness!

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Resurfacer: I have used this product for years and I love it! Any Peter Thomas Roth mask is a favorite of mine. Every year around the holidays, the Peter Thomas Roth full mask collection ‘mini’s’ go on sale! 1. Great gift (I have gifted SO many of these sets) and 2. It’s a great buy for yourself. Even though the products in the set are considered ‘mini’ they are a really good size! The mini mask kit that I purchase every year is not available for purchase yet but I linked a few other sets they offer year-round (I will keep y’all posted on when the OG mini sets become available!). The pumpkin enzyme mask resurfacer is included in the set and it’s my absolute favorite! It really does ‘resurface’ your skin and leaves your skin feeling so polished! I apply the mask to my entire face and gently massage it into my skin, leaving it on for 10 minutes! The smell is amazing and gets me in the holiday spirit!

I have used so many pumpkin skincare products and have been eating so much pumpkin, I just might turn into one, lol! Fall is my absolute favorite season & you can’t have fall without pumpkins! Who else uses products that contain pumpkin? You may even have products that contain pumpkin without realizing it! Pumpkin does amazing things for the skin, that is why many companies incorporate it into their products! I am soaking up as much pumpkin as I can right now! You know mine is Fall, what is your favorite season?!

Xoxo, Kayla
