This time last year, I had my graduation dress picked out and anxiously hanging front and center in my closet. Due to the pandemic, my ceremony was canceled and I felt I was lacking the closure I needed from my beloved university. Flash forward one year later [down to the exact same weekend] and they are having our ‘once postponed indefinitely’ ceremony. I cannot wait to be surrounded by friends & family and celebrate the weekend we all worked so hard for and deserve! As I found myself browsing the web for a graduation dress, [I will probably end up wearing my original one, seems fitting & it’s pink!] I wanted to round up some of my favorites for the class of 2021 [and class of 2020 if you get a redo!].
My words of advice-
Congratulations, class of 2021! You did it! Cheers to all your hard work and the colorful road that lies ahead. I wish every graduate the best of luck when entering the workforce and joining adulthood. Graduating during a global pandemic was far from ideal but challenged me in ways that made me stronger and encouraged me to take risks, that I probably wouldn’t ever have taken! Make the best of the situation you find yourself in and know that everything will work out! As a true queen once said, “It is with passion, courage of conviction, and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world, remembering that first impressions are not always correct. You must always have faith in people. And most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself.”
Cheers!

Love you!
