Hello, Big Girl Apartment!
Sharing furniture, decorative items, & art that I recently used when moving into my new apartment! These pieces have made my apartment feel inviting and cozy and look fabulous! The items are budget-friendly and would look amazing in your space!
My goal for this space was to have a very ‘grown up’ feel while keeping it light & bright with fun pops of color. Anyone that knows me well knows I live for a good fushia rug and glitter on the walls. I created the space to feel like that while keeping some things understated (more adult!).

ENTRY RUG: IKEA | [could not find exact but linked similar] This rug had to be extremely thin because of how the front door opens- the rug pictured is so thin and was $1.99 [I purchased five] but was unable to find online. I linked a similar one! | BARSTOOLS: Ballard Designs | These were a SPLURGE. I had a hard time finding counter-height barstools that I loved and in my opinion, these were worth the splurge! I only had room for two stools and found that many I liked, came in sets of three so I liked how these were sold as singles!

DISH TOWELS: Target | I love these! They are available in a few colors [I grabbed the yellow as well] and they have held up well! The yellow is currently 50% off! | RUNNER: IKEA | I love this runner! The trim gives the flatwoven look a more ‘put together’ feel and is made of ‘sisal’ which is a natural fiber taken from the agave plant [holds up really well!] so it’s perfect for pets/kids/high traffic areas! | The definitions [2 ‘ 7 “x8 ‘ 2 “] | RUG TAPE: Amazon | My runner was sliding around the kitchen [especially when Reese was running around] and this tape has kept it perfectly in place!

DOG CRATE: Overstock | I love the look of this crate! I do not like the look of the traditional black wire crate [that is the one I had before] so I had been keeping an eye out for a more stylish crate! I found this one on sale & snagged it! When I first saw it, I loved it but was nervous to see the price & when I did, I was shocked! Once I ordered it, I was nervous to see the quality because most similar pieces I found were $$$. The quality is GREAT! COUCH: IKEA | I went back & forth on which couch I was going to get and I am SO happy I went with this one! It is technically a loveseat [that’s all I had space for] and turns into a queen bed [we love a good sofa sleeper!] #functional | OTTOMAN: IKEA | I love the storage the ottoman offers [A LOT of storage]. I leave my ottoman at the end of the couch and it looks like it’s connected to the couch. The color of the couch/ottoman is “Inseros White” and the covers come off and are washable [much needed with Reese & Geoff, lol.] | THROW BLANKET: Barefoot Dreams | Simply the best! GREEN PILLOWS: Amazon | These were used in my bedroom at my parent’s house! The pillowcases are great quality! | MIRROR: Anthropologie | Mine is the 5′. My mom has the 7′ Floor & 3′ in her home and they are stunning! I got mine for Christmas a few years ago and have been longing for my own space to use it!

I looked around for months and realized if I wanted a dresser that was going to hold up, I was going to spend a good bit.
